About Us

About Us

The Huntington church of Christ is a family of believers who meet regularly to worship God and encourage each other. (Acts 2:42)

We use the term “family” because each member of the Huntington church is brother or sister in Christ. This is a relationship that demands devotion to each other and devotion to the faith that we share and live by. (Ephesians 4:16)

Our fellowship and love for each other is evident in all we do, during and outside the regular assembly. We are not perfect people, but we strive to serve God to the best of our ability. (Colossians 3:17)

We are a congregation of disciples of Christ, redeemed by the grace of God through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. (Ephesians 1:7)

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it reveals God’s plan of salvation. We believe that it instructs us in all that we need to know in order to worship Him and to live faithfully in this life. (Ephesians 1:8-14)

We believe and confess that Jesus is the sinless son of God and that he died to pay for our redemption. (Matthew 10:32; Acts 8:37)

We believe that in order to be saved, one must repent of their sins and be baptized in to Christ’s death by being immersed in water. (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Act 22:16; Romans 6:3-4)

It is our sincere desire that you will be come and visit with us. We believe that you will find that our worship is in accordance with the Bible. We hope you will find a home with our church family, a place you will feel welcome. We want you be saved and share the same hope that we have, to go to heaven, to be with God eternally.
